Managing Your Clients

Adding a New Client

Add clients when you create a job or manually in your Clients section. Include name, phone, email, address, and notes. If it's a repeat customer, you can mark them as such. ANVL saves this information so you don't re-enter it for future projects.

Client Information

Store all relevant client info: preferred contact method, payment method, special requests, accessibility needs, and any notes about their preferences. Example: "Prefers email communication, very detail-oriented, likes traditional styles." These details help you provide better service.

Client History

View all past and current projects with each client. See dates, amounts, and completion status. This helps you understand repeat customers and tailor proposals based on past work. It's also useful for follow-up sales: "Would you like similar work in your other bathroom?"

Contact Log

ANVL keeps a record of all communications: messages, emails, calls, and meetings. This creates accountability and prevents misunderstandings. If a dispute arises, you have documentation of every interaction.

Notes and Preferences

Add notes about client preferences, communication style, or special needs. "Prefers morning calls," "wants detailed daily updates," "check twice before ordering." These notes help you provide personalized service and improve satisfaction.

Client Segmentation

Label clients by type: Residential, Commercial, Repeat Customer, VIP, etc. This helps you prioritize and organize. You can filter by segment to see all your VIP clients or identify your best repeat customers.

Follow-Up Reminders

Set reminders to follow up with clients: after project completion, before their birthday, or seasonally. For example, "Follow up with spring cleaning special" or "Check in with seasonal clients for winter maintenance." Automated reminders help you stay in touch.

Client Communication Preferences

Respect how clients prefer to communicate. Some want daily updates via text, others prefer monthly summaries via email. Store these preferences and follow them. Good communication prevents problems and builds loyalty.

Payment History

Client information is stored securely. Only you and authorized team members can access client details. Clients have control over their personal information and can request deletion anytime.
