Getting Started with ANVL
Creating an ANVL account is quick and straightforward. Whether you're a contractor looking to streamline your business or a homeowner seeking quality work, we've made the signup process simple and intuitive.
Step 1: Choose Your Account Type
When you first visit ANVL, you'll see two options: Contractor or Homeowner. This choice determines the features and tools available to you. Contractors get access to job management, invoicing, and the marketplace. Homeowners get access to the contractor directory, quote requests, and project tracking.
Don't worry if you need both—you can create multiple accounts with different email addresses, or contact support to upgrade your account later.
Step 2: Enter Your Email and Create a Password
Provide a valid email address and create a strong password. Your email is used for login and important account notifications, so make sure it's current and that you have access to it. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols for security.
Step 3: Verify Your Email
Check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case) for a verification email from ANVL. Click the verification link to confirm your email address. This step ensures we can reach you with important updates and password reset instructions.
Step 4: Complete Your Profile
After verification, you'll be guided through initial profile setup. For contractors, this includes your business name, service areas, and trade categories. For homeowners, you'll provide your location and interests. You can update these details anytime in your account settings.
What Information Do You Need?
For Contractors: Business name, phone number, service areas (cities/regions where you work), trade categories (electrical, plumbing, etc.), and optionally your business license number or insurance information. You can add more details like business logo and portfolio photos after signup.
For Homeowners: Your address (so contractors can see if they service your area), and the types of work you're interested in. This helps us show you relevant contractors and match you with appropriate bids.
Account Security
ANVL takes security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) in your account settings for an extra layer of protection. You can manage your security settings anytime from your Account Settings page.
What's Next?
